PHOTO/FILM/TALENT

Visual Projects
National Geographic Photographer/Filmmaker Chad Copeland has traveled the world in search of precious moments behind the lens.

Icelandic Erruption
This is the 6th fissure in what’s the first expression of deep crust lava making its way to the surface in over 800 years for this part of Iceland. Yet, the first time humans have been able to film and photograph the hotspot erupting, ever. We inhabit a very small planet and those who travel internationally on a regular basis will agree. We’ve always been fascinated by fire. My eyes were equally drawn to this magical experience as were my ears to the unique sounds of the cycling eruptions, whipping vortex and river of molten rock passing before my feet.
