Chapter 01
Enter another scale.
Underwater work changes every part of the relationship to a subject: light, distance, movement and the time available to make a frame. The Tonga photographs follow humpback whales in the waters around Vava’u.
Chapter 02
Let the encounter carry the story.
These images make room for the relationship between the animals and their environment. The work asks the viewer to slow down, look closely and recognize the scale of the living world.
