Go far.
Look closer.
Stories from ice, ocean, mountains and fire. A visual record of the fieldwork, the people and the places that shaped my perspective.
The perspective
Getting there is only the beginning.
Expedition work combines preparation, technical problem solving and curiosity. A finished photograph is one piece of the record. Field camps, aircraft, boats, interviews and the work between frames tell the rest.
Selected work
Follow the story.

Greenland · Songs of Giants
Ice, ocean and the possibility of understanding more. Greenland connects my expedition photography with Wild Actual’s Songs of Giants project.

Iceland · Fire & ice
From ice caves to the 2021 Fagradalsfjall eruption: a study in scale, change and working close to the elements.

National Geographic · China
Custom-built aerial camera systems opened a different way to see China’s extraordinary karst landscapes.

Tonga · Beneath the surface
Whales, water and the patience required to make an image from within the environment.

Australia · From above
The Great Barrier Reef seen from above: color, structure and the meeting of flight and photography.

Salmon River
A journey through river country, told from water level and the camp between days.
