NORTH TO ADVENTURE

Stabilizing Tourism in the North
Canada is a wild, dynamic land teaming with culture, adventure and mystery. Yet, the void of visual content and stories keeps the Great North and its inhabitants in the shadows. The borders have reopened and the time is now to elevate Indigenous Tourism across the nation. Through our adventure stories, we will educate viewers about the mystery's of the north because if you don't know, you don't go. Through this initiative we will return the power of hope through a partnership between our nations coming back stronger than ever. Our diverse team of filmmakers, story tellers and adventurers are ready to embark on a documentary series designed to illuminate the many incredible wonders across the nation and inspire authentic, sustainable and eco-friendly tourism guided by Indigenous Peoples in every Provence.

Perspective
The Wild Actual Team consists of a group of diverse people from Canada, the United States and select countries around the world. Each individual has filmed, photographed and told stories for National Geographic, the BBC's Planet series and other earth positive organizations. We have the experience, tools and great personalities it takes to understand the depth of storytelling for large scale projects.
Canada is the second largest country in the world with challenging flora, fauna and geological wonders that we are trained to smartly navigate in order to present Indigenous stories for the world to enjoy.

CHAPTER ONE
Mystery of the Spirit Bear
In the first episode of the series, we explore the coast of British Columbia and learn about one of the rarest creatures on earth, on adventure, with local guides!
A culture story about the history of indigenous adventure, wildlife, cuisine and wild lands guided by the Indigenous Peoples of Coastal British Columbia as we will lean into magic of modern day filmmaking.

We Know Tourism
Proof of Concept

In 2020, the world was surprised by the COVID-19 pandemic. In the months leading up to the shutdown, Chad Copeland was contracted by a tourism organization to stabilize the region through creative filmmaking. The series has been very successful with millions of views and has inspired the return of eco-friendly tourism. Today, the region is teaming with activity, bringing much needed dollars to local businesses.
